This offering is for a rare 19th century stoneware mold for making redware or pottery spaniels. The mold is made of salt glazed stoneware in two sections and would produce a seated dog app. 3 1/2" tall. There are no makers markings but the mold would have been used at any of the potteries in the Ohio, Virginia or Pennsylvania areas.
