This offering is for an interesting late 19th century two handled pottery jug with applied floral decorations on the front. The jug is app. 1/2 gallon in size measuring app. 8 1/8" to the top of the lip. Judging from the glaze, handle, mouth and base edgeings I believe the jug was made in the Middle Tennessee area, likely about the 1880's 1890's.
