This delightful hanging wall shelf dates from the second half of the 19th century. The shelf features two tiers with very very folky cut-out sides that will simply make you smile. As you can see the shelf is diminutive in size, however it packs a whallop in design and surface. The shelf retains the original varnish finish which has alligatored to the extreme and the surface is completely untouched with a beautiful deep glowing patina.
