This mid to late 19th century painting is of "Old Baldy", a mountain ridge summit near Hays Texas. The painting was executed in oil on a section of what I believe is a Sawshark bill and which was likely obtained somewhere in the waters near Australia. The painting is a bit dirty and it could use a proper cleaning to make it more easily visible.
