This cast iron folk art plaque of Abraham Lincoln dates from the mid to late 19th century. Most likely the plaque was made by a small rural blacksmith shop or foundery shortly after the assassination of Mr. Lincoln. The plaque exhibits a wonderful, naive folk art quality, that just makes you smile.
