This great marble clock features at least five different kinds of marble, some with outstanding figuring and graining, as in the upright columns. Most likely the clock was made by a worker in a monument works, as a lunch hour or after hours whimsey taking advantage of the availability of several different marbles. The clock is a wind up and is in excellent working condition, however it tends to run just a slight bit fast.
