This pair of hand carved folk art horses feature a fun and exuberance that almost gives one the feeling that the figures are actually smiling. The figures are unsigned yet they are obviously the work of a very talented carver. Each of the figures retain parts of the original cloth saddles and rigging as seen in the accompanying images. The figures have a very nice rich coloring and patina that displays beautifully.
