This wonderful carved wooden bog shoe is one of the nicest I have seen for exhibiting humanoid like facial features. Bog shoes were designed to be attached to horses hooves to allow passage over moist or soft ground. The example we offer here is complete with the original forged iron work and removable forged iron horse shoe. The surface is untouched with an excellent patina.
