This offering is for an exquisite, 19th century, hand carved Devil's head figure. The figure features a deeply carved linear design that works perfectly to portray the evil essance that would be Lucifer. He has a wickedly long thin pointed nose with sharply angular brow, cheeks and ears. He also exhibits a deep set, wickedly toothy grin and is finished off with a snake, carved tightly around the neck. The untouched, completely intact, original painted finish is a deep red with a darker reddish brown for the skull cap and a dark natural varnish base.
