This offering is for an outstanding early 20th century folk art painted Golden Eye Duck Decoy. The small bird features a folky, free form paint scheme that simply "works". The decoy also has a sleek, expertly carved and designed body or nearly perfect proportions. The bird is stamped on the bottom by either the carver or an early rig owner with a JP monogram. The condition is excellent with only minor wear.
