The hande of this folk art cane is carved in the shape of what I believe was to be a bear. The likeness is fairly folky and may represent another animal all together, but for the life of me I'm not sure what. The polychrome bear is featured standing on a green surface and the shaft of the cane features a beautiful reddish orange paint with a great surface.
