This offering is for a pair of late 19th century brass calipurs. The calipurs are decorated on both sides with zig zag motifs as well as having a floral motif on one side. The calipurs are not maker marked but judging from the design elements they were probably made in the Pennsylvania area in the early 1800's. The surface exhibits a wonderful deep uncleaned patina and they display beautifully.
