This offering is for an antique wooden butter mold that exhibits what is quite possibly the finest form ever for a wooden butter mold. The mold is not maker marked or dated but probably dates from the mid 19th century, about the 1860's to the 1870's. I personally feel that, with the exquisite form, design and craftsmanship, the mold was quite possibly Shaker made.
