This beautiful miniature basket dates from the last quarter of the 19th century and is likely from the area of Tennessee. The basket was made using a tiny splint material and the craftsmanship is nothing short of outstanding. This great little basket also retains it's original robins egg blue painted surface and was likely made as a souvenir in the late 1800's.
