This heavy duty basket dates from the end of the 19th century. The basket has a large wooden swing handle and it retains a good deal of it's original blue painted surface. The height of the basket is 9 1/4" with the handle down, 15 1/2" with the handle up and the diameter is app. 12 1/2". The condition is as seen in the photo's with some loss to both the paint and splints from use.
