This late 18th to early 19th century hand wrought iron door lock latch is not maker marked as far as I can see but was likely made in Pennsylvania. Similar examples can be found in Volume 1 of Early American Wrought Iron by Albert H. Sonn. This beautiful example features an elaborate back plate with fancy cutwork edges, a double scroll shaped spring and chased designs on the fittings.
