This wonderful cast iron lidded pot features an early Federal style Eagle and four stars, all embossed in high relief on the lid. The pot has a small brass knob on the top of the lid and the bottom shows evidence that the mold it was cast in had originally been used for making three legged pots. The pot has an excellent surface with a deep patina that displays beautifully.
